
BRIANNA HARRIS, MD

Dr. Brianna Harris is the Director of Microvascular Surgery at SENTA Clinic. She specializes in diseases of the ear, nose, and throat as well as tumors of the head and neck region, including thyroid, parathyroid, mouth, throat, and skull base tumors. She has expertise in both minimally invasive surgeries of the head and neck, including Transoral Robotic Surgery, as well as head and neck reconstruction with microvascular surgery.
Brianna Harris, MD is a native to Southern California. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University, and graduated with high honors (magna cum laude). She went on to conduct medical research at the world renown Dana Farber Cancer Institute before attending medical school at the University of Southern California. On receiving her Doctor of Medicine degree, she was also awarded the Howard House award for Excellence in Otolaryngology. Dr. Harris completed her Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery training at the University of California Davis. Residency training included all aspects of ear, nose and throat, including sinus and skull base, and particularly in head and neck oncology and maxillofacial trauma. She then went on to a earn the competitive fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, the origin of transoral robotic surgery for the head and neck. While there she received extensive training in microvascular reconstruction at one of the busiest head and neck programs in the country. During her training, she published over 2 dozen peer reviewed articles on head and neck cancer, translational medicine and immunotherapy, and skin cancers.
Dr. Brianna Harris is board certified in the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and a candidate member/fellow in the American College of Surgeons. She is also a member of the American Head and Neck Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngology. She has presented scientific works focused on head and neck tumors and reconstruction at numerous national and international meetings.
Dr. Harris practices at Sharp Memorial hospital, Scripps Memorial hospital, Sharp Grossmont Hospital, and Alvarado Hospital. She has one main goal- a world without cancer. She works tirelessly for her patients and their families. As part of her philanthropic spirit, she has personally raised over $100,000 towards cancer research by running races throughout the country, sponsoring patients with every mile.
